About Us
Dr. Tina Sayuri Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer. She retired from the Guilford County School system after 22 years, serving in various positions including Japanese Foreign Language Teacher, Parent Advocate, Homeless Services Coordinator, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She is currently an Associate Professor within Leadership Studies at High Point University, where she also serves as the Executive Director of the Siegfried Leadership Fellows program for 500 undergraduates. Additionally, she co-leads the Quality Enhancement Plan Steering Committee for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and teaches dissertation courses for doctoral candidates. Since 2009, Dr. Johnson has conducted over 1,000 coaching visits and provided leadership development and team performance coaching for school leaders. Since 2023, TSFJ Consulting has provided leadership development and team performance coaching aimed at leading growth towards improved achievement for individuals and teams.
Dissertation Coaching
Dissertation coaching offers personalized guidance and support to help graduate students navigate the complex process of completing their dissertations. Through regular sessions, Dr. Johnson provides feedback on writing, research methods, and project structure, ensuring that students' work aligns with academic standards and expectations. By addressing both the practical and emotional challenges of dissertation writing, coaching helps students achieve their academic goals more efficiently and confidently.
Team Performance Coaching
Team performance coaching improves collaboration through better communication and understanding. It leverages individual strengths to boost productivity and efficiency while fostering a positive work environment. This enhances morale and job satisfaction. Dr. Johnson holds a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies, specializing in Conflict Resolution, to optimize team performance.

Leadership coaching is an invaluable tool for personal and professional growth, helping leaders develop self-awareness, decision-making skills, and emotional intelligence—essential components of effective leadership. Dr. Johnson, a highly qualified leadership coach, holds multiple certifications, including Lumina Spark Coach, Lumina Leader Coach, Lumina Emotion Coach, Center for Creative Leadership 360 Assessment Coach, Situational Conversation Coach, and Situational Leadership Coach. These certifications empower Dr. Johnson to offer tailored coaching sessions that cater to the unique needs and goals of each leader, helping them build a robust skill set to lead effectively and drive organizational success.
